Facial massage has many benefits, it allows products to absorb properly into the skin, and helps with circulation. When you’re applying your daily cleanser this morning or tonight, take an extra 60 seconds to massage the product into your skin in a circular motion. Pay particular attention to your temples and sinuses for maximum relaxation benefits. If possible gently rub some aromatherapy oil such as lavender into your temples to help rid stress and anxieties.
Sometimes we forget about our scalps, as much as we care for our skin and hair. By stimulating your scalp is said to help with hair growth, as it increases circulation and blood flow. It also helps reduce stress and headaches, not to mention how incredible it feels!
A long, steamy bath is the ultimate in relaxation and indulgence. It’s simply time to yourself, which we all need once in a while. Add some aromatherapy oils or scents to your bath. Scents such as lavender, eucalyptus or peppermint all evoke an at-home spa experience.
At the end of your bath (after your skin has softened) rub your feed with a cooling foot scrub. Find a product that includes peppermint as the cooling affects are amazing!
