Weekly Routine for Chlorine Free Poppits Sanosil System
May 27th, 2015
Here are the four steps to ensure water balance with a Chlorine Free Spa:
1. Sanitise the Water
Test for Peroxide levels using the Poppits Sanosil Test Strips.
When? Before entering spa EVERYTIME or at least ONCE a week when has not been used.
If Ok – you can enter the spa
If Low – add some Poppit Sanosil
If High – add water immediately
2. Water Balance
Test for correct pH / Alkalinity levels.
When? ONCE a week
If pH is Ok – good news, no need to adjust
If not Ok (Low) – adjust using One Step Prep or Water Balance
If not Ok (High) – adjust using Poppits Spa pH Reducer
If Alkalinity is Ok – good, no need to adjust
3. Water Clarity
Look at the water
When? At least once a week
If the water is clear – just clean the filters (not applicable to purple disposable filters)
If the water is not perfect (i.e cloudy, foaming, dull smell) fix by:
Oxidising with Quick Fix
Then clean the filters – degrease or replace
If water is Ok, but not sparkling, use Poppit Sanosil Maintenance and Clarifier (not recommend with purple disposable filters)
4. Refresh the Water
TDS levels may be too high
HINT – when everything you have been doing no longer works – it’s time to refresh your spa water. Poppits Sanosil spa water must be replaced / refreshed every 3 months
