For thousands of years people have been practicing Chromotherapy also known as Colour therapy, a healing technique to improve our physical health and daily mindset. Seeing colours is believed to affect our feelings, moods and emotions. What better place to get your daily dose of Chromotherapy than in your own spa pool?
Chromotherapy was even practised by the ancients where by individuals were bathed in light that was filtered through various coloured glass panels and windows.
What do the colours mean?
Blue – blue coloured light has many health benefits. It is believed to help make relaxing easier, reduces blood pressure and soothes breathing. In fact blue light has been proven to alleviate inflammation and improve blood circulation. In short summary it certainly does all good things for our aging health... sounds awesome right?
Red – red colour light helps with energizing and stimulating the body and mind. It adds to your pulse rate and creates your mood for a little bit of romance!
Green – green light is believed to decrease irritability and sleeping disorder, to help bring forward a more peaceful mindset.
Yellow – yellow promotes happiness and can help aid digestion.
