After suffering from insomnia for several years, Les Patterson’s doctor suggested he regularly relax in a spa before bed.
It was an idea supported by his wife, Marie, who was also after relief for neck and back pain.
Les, Marie and their two children approached Endless Spas for advice on the best spa for their needs – and subsequently purchased an eight-seater ‘Grande’ with salt chlorination.
While Les and Marie generally use their outdoor spa four to five times a week, in some weeks they use it every day.
Says Les: “Since we have been using our spa, I am getting a better night’s sleep than I have had in years and my wife says that the pain she was experiencing has lessened.
“We are also saving money as we need to go to the doctor and physiotherapist less frequently.”
Owning a spa has also provided other benefits for the Patterson family, such as helping them to reconnect with friends.
“Lots of our friends drop in for a spa, it has been great for socialising,” says Les. “They also like that we have salt chlorination as it is kinder to your skin, there’s no awful chlorine smell and from our perspective it’s so easy to maintain - we don’t have to change the water so often.”
Les says that attending Endless Spas’ start up class and chemical maintenance class helped him to gain a good understanding of how to care for his spa.
“If you’re thinking about buying a spa, do it now. I view owning a spa as an investment in myself and my family,” says Les. “Now we have a spa, we wouldn’t want to be without one! We have the portable model as we’ll definitely be taking it with us if we ever move house.” |
